Logo
One wordmark, two versions.
The Pushcast logo is the word itself, set heavy with the letters overlapping. There is a white version for dark backgrounds, and a dark grey version for light backgrounds — pick by what it is going onto, and it will always look right. Each comes as an SVG, which stays sharp at any size and is the one to use whenever an app will take it, and as a large PNG for the apps that will not.
For dark backgrounds
White letters. Use on black, dark colours, and over dark photography.
For light backgrounds
Dark grey letters. Use on white, off-white, and pale colours.
Give it room
Leave at least the logo's own height of empty space on every side — no text, edges or other logos pressed up against it.
Match the background
White on dark, grey on light. Neither version should be recoloured — if something genuinely needs the logo in another colour, ask and we will make one.
Don't remodel it
No stretching, squashing, rotating, outlines, glows or drop shadows. Resize by dragging a corner, never an edge.
Small is fine
The wordmark holds together down to about 90 pixels or 25 mm wide. Below that, use the square icon instead.
Icon
The icon, for squares.
Wherever the space is a small square — e.g. a profile picture — the logo wordmark would be too small to be readable. The icon stands in for it. The plain square is the one to use almost everywhere. The version with rounded corners is there for when you need to represent an app icon specifically. Both are PNG, 1024 pixels across, and shrink to whatever size the app needs.

Three colours do all the work.
A near-black, a warm off-white, and gold. Beside each one is where it goes, and where it does not. Click a hex code to copy it.

Typefaces
Three typefaces, one job each.
One for headlines, one for small labels, and one for everything else. They are three members of the same family, so they agree with each other without trying. All three are free to use and share.

Putting it together
How a headline is built.
Most Pushcast layouts open the same way, and the steps below show how. None of this is compulsory — but if a slide or a page starts like this, it will feel like ours.
- #1A label in DM Mono: small capitals, wide spacing, gold. It says what the section is about in three or four words. A short gold rule above it is a nice touch, not a requirement.
- #2The headline in DM Serif Display, large, kept to a line or two. One word in italic carries the emphasis — the one you would lean on if you said it aloud.
- #3A sentence or two of DM Sans, light, slightly dimmed.
- #4Plenty of space. Dark backgrounds, small amounts of gold, and room around everything is most of what the look is.

Get in touchSymbol icons
When a symbol helps, it comes from Heroicons.
For heading up a feature, sitting beside a bullet point, or making a section scannable, we use Heroicons — a free set of simple, consistent line icons. Using one set everywhere is what keeps things looking like they belong together. Below are the ones our main site uses — click one to download it. There are a few hundred more in the download at the bottom of this section.
Two of them have a fixed job
Wherever one of our platforms/products is named with a symbol beside it, it is this symbol, every time.
Using them
Pick the outline style — the thin line drawings — for almost everything; the filled solid style is for very small sizes or a deliberate contrast. Colour them to match the text beside them, or gold on a dark background. Need one that is not shown here? Find its name by searching heroicons.com, then take the file from the download below — every icon is in it, under that name.
The licence, in plain English
Heroicons are by Tailwind Labs and released under the MIT licence: free to use in anything Pushcast makes, commercial or not, with no credit needed on a slide, flyer or web page. The only condition is that if you pass the icon files themselves on to someone, the licence text goes with them — the download below includes it.
